The senate on Wednesday suspended senator Muhammed Ali Ndume for six months by the Senate over his allegations against Senate President Dr Bukola Saraki and Senator Dino Melaye.
Senator Ali, was found guilty of not “making due diligence” before filing a petition against the Saraki and Melaye.
Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions made the recommendation in its report, which was considered by the lawmakers at the plenary on Wednesday.
