Teenage robber caught with toy gun beaten mercilessly in Edo (Photos/video)

A teenage armed robber was beaten mercilessly by an angry mob after he was caught robbing with a toy gun in Edo State yesterday.

In a video clip gone viral,though he sounded Fulani, he said he was from Osun state.When asked what his name was he said, “Smallie” and also claimed to be a Christian.

Asked what he was doing with a toy gun, he said,

 “I dey use am thief,” because “since 3 days, I never chop.”

Covered in wounds, the thief, pleaded for mercy.
