A hit-and-run victim bled to death after witnesses ignored his pleas for help so they could film him on their phones in India .
Anwar Ali, 17, was left lying on the road for half an hour while onlookers took photos after his bicycle had collided with a bus in the Koppal district of Karnataka state.Medics said he could have survived the crash if he had received emergency care earlier.
The incident has sparked outrage online in India.
His cousin Riyaz told the Bangalore Mirror
Ali, did eventually receive medical treatment, but he later died in hospital.

'Anwar could have been saved if he had been brought to the hospital immediately. Instead, people stood there capturing the scene on their phones.'Bystanders reportedly offered him water, but nobody offered to take him to hospital.
