A father killed his wife and teenage daughter and then himself in a murder-suicide Friday inside their palatable home on Fox Hill Road.
A woman who arrived to clean the home at 23 Fox Hill Road at about 11 a.m. discovered the bodies of Steven Dym, 56, Loretta Dym, 50, and Caroline Dym, 18, on the second floor.
She called 911 and Pound Ridge and state police responded.
State police Investigator Joseph Becerra said police were not yet ready to identify how all three were killed. He would also not say where each of the bodies were found, according to Lohud.com.
It was not the first violent episode at the house. On Nov. 11, 1992, Steven Dym’s mother, Paula, attacked her husband Lawrence with the handle of a hatchet, striking him in the head as he slept.
Lawrence Dym survived and his wife, who was under stress at the time for a medical condition, was hospitalized for psychiatric evaluation.
Steven Dym was CEO of Gabriel Management in Queens, a managing agent of apartment buildings. His father had been president of the company for years.
Loretta Dym was vice president for global strategic memberships for Club Quarters Hotels in Manhattan.
Caroline Dym ,the couple's other child, William, just started his sophomore year at the University of Southern California.
