Stray Bullet Kills Young Boy As Soldiers Storm Imo Market

A young boy as been killed by a stray bullet in Imo.

It was reported that the state government had began the demolition of the ancestral Eke ukwu market in Owerri, amidst stiff protest by the occupants on Saturday and at least a casualty has been recorded. Governor, Rochas Okorocha came under massive insult from indigines when he ordered that the market be demolished in a protracted move to relocate the market. as they argued it  is part of their traditional heritage which shouldn't be tampered with. 

Things took a turn for the worse yesterday, when soldiers stormed the market, ahead of the demolition today. 

Reports trickling in from the state indicates that a young boy who went to help his mother move her wares, was killed by a stray bullet.
